LONG BRANCH, N.J., January 21, 2016 — Lucille T. Famulary has announced the establishment of L.T. Famulary Executive Search Consultants, specializing in executive recruiting for health care, financial services and law enforcement professionals.
The Long Branch-based company fills a unique niche in the executive search market that matches health care and financial services companies with experienced professionals in those respective fields. Additionally, the specialty recruiting firm assists individuals in law enforcement transition into rewarding private-sector careers.

Famulary brings to her new venture more than 20 years of combined experience in executive recruiting for the financial industry and in health care management. After beginning her career in the Human Resources Department at Monmouth Medical Center — the Long Branch-based affiliate of Barnabas Health — she worked for several executive search firms in New York City, where she gained extensive recruiting experience in the institutional trading, foreign exchange, financial futures and options markets before becoming vice president of executive recruitment for investment banking at Rand Thompson Consultants.
A decade later, Famulary returned to Monmouth Medical Center, where she held several posts, including community liaison/patient advocate in its Emergency Department (see story below) and manager of patient satisfaction. She then was recruited by AcuteCare Health System — the parent company of Specialty Hospital of Central Jersey (SHCJ), a Lakewood-based long term acute care hospital. After serving as director of business development for ACHS, she became director of patient satisfaction at SHCJ and then marketing manager for AHCS’ Beacon Health and Social Services, Oceanport.
During her early tenure in the executive search arena, Famulary became known for her ability to sense the “right fit” between a company and a candidate, taking into careful consideration the company’s culture, vision and values, and the candidate’s qualifications, potential and personality. In addition, Famulary’s colorful nature and uncanny ability to build strong business relationships soon became her signature calling card — an attribute that proved beneficial upon her return to the health care sector.
Not only did Famulary serve as the voice of patients and families in her patient satisfaction roles at both Monmouth Medical Center and then Specialty Hospital of Central Jersey, she also was responsible for establishing new partnerships with physicians and other health care providers during her earlier executive leadership role at AcuteCare Health System.

CLOSE TIES WITH LAW ENFORCEMENT
Lucille Famulary’s close ties with law enforcement took root while she was a patient advocate in Monmouth Medical Center’s Emergency Department, where she became known to police officers who would be involved in the transport of patients to Monmouth for emergency care.
